We offer both Senior High and Middle School Youth Groups that meet on Sundays from 12:15-1:30 PM and offer a balance of fellowship, fun, and Christian education. The lay leaders coordinate the programs in consultation with the clergy. Our Youth Group program also offers periodic programs for parents designed for education, support, and sharing.
Senior High Youth Group is open to students in 9th-12th grades. They share their own concerns and joys, search to find their own meaning in faith, reflect theologically on the needs and conditions of the world, and undertake various mission and service activities. This is the setting for periodic confirmation classes and provides an environment in which individuals' gifts are affirmed without judgment and a cohesive peer group is sustained.
Middle School Youth Group is open to students in 6th-8th grades. It addresses issues faced by young adolescents in a safe and accepting environment, while deepening their faith and knowledge of Scripture.
The Saint Mark’s Youth Group kicked off the 2019-20 program year tapping into our musical gifts, using ukuleles and drums to explore our faith and culture.
