We don't simply go to church; we are the church! Explore the numerous opportunities to connect and grow with others at Saint Mark’s.

Acolytes

Acolytes are a dedicated group of youth from 6th–12th grade who serve at the altar.

The Altar Guild does Saturday work to prepare the church for Sunday worship.

Guided by Music Director Dr. Lisa Sylvester, our choir leads the musical component of our weekly services.

Our children's choir rehearses weekly and provides music leadership once a month during the school year.

Eucharistic Ministers (EMs) assist the clergy at the altar, lead the Nicene Creed, and administer the wine during communion, and more.

Trained lay ministers are available to offer prayers during communion with those who have special concerns or thanksgivings.

Saint Mark's intercessors lead the Prayers of the People at worship services.

Lectors read the scripture lessons at our Sunday worship and other services throughout the church year.

Tech and Zoom ministers work together to make services in the church available for online participants.

Tellers are the first step in the church’s responsible stewardship of the financial contributions of members and visitors.

Saint Mark's ushers greet worshippers at the door with a smile and a bulletin, answer questions, and assist during the service.
