The Rev. Bob Honeychurch
I am delighted to be a part of the St. Mark’s community. Ordained in 1984, I was a parish priest in Montana, Idaho, and the San Francisco Bay Area for 24 years before moving to Altadena and St. Mark’s in 2008. I must say, however, that I have been gone far more than I have been here. From 2008-2012, I served as a full-time consultant with the church-wide office of the Episcopal Church as the Missioner for Congregational Vitality, followed by being an interim priest in eight different Episcopal congregations as they prepared themselves to call a new rector or vicar. In addition, I have taught Practical Theology as an adjunct professor in Episcopal seminaries for over 20 years. My real passion lies in the area of building and sustaining healthy and life-giving models of congregational life so that the members of those congregations can experience holy transformation in their own lives, and then engage in the work of sharing with God in the transformation of all creation.
