The Rev. Carri Patterson Grindon

I joined the Saint Mark’s Community in September of 2009, and serve as Rector. I delight in sharing the life of faith with this courageous, generous, and joyful community, whether in worship, service, learning, pastoral conversation and care, or at play.

I was called to the priesthood while serving as the Youth Director at All Saints, Pasadena.  After attending Yale/Berkeley Divinity School in New Haven, CT, I returned to Los Angeles in 1992, and served in parishes in San Gabriel and Camarillo. In 1999, I moved with my family to Atlanta, GA, and spent ten years in ministry there, before returning to the Diocese of Los Angeles to serve at Saint Mark’s.
