Saint Mark’s Altar Guild consists of nearly two dozen members, both men and women. The Altar Guild does Saturday work to prepare the church for Sunday worship, re-sets between Sunday services, and cleans up the communion ware, linens, vestments, and altar afterwards. Among the Altar Guild members are people with a gift with flowers who prepare a wonderful variety of floral arrangements to add beauty to our sanctuary. The Altar Guild meets at 8:45 a.m. on the second Sunday of each month.
In addition to their work in the church, the Altar Guild hosts the annual Maundy Thursday Agapé Supper. Each winter, the Altar Guild has a Christmas Greens Sale, which raises funds for altar linens, supplies, and vestments.
